BOTULINUM TOXIN WRINKLE TREATMENT
Botulinum toxin is injected directly into the muscles around the wrinkles with a very small needle after using an anesthetic cream or the Coolsense device of local anesthesia by cooling can be applied, so the treatment will be painless!
The treatment takes a few minutes and the results of the procedure become evident in a few days (2-5 days) and the effect lasts for 4-6 months, after which the muscles gradually resume their activity and the treatment must be renewed.
People who can benefit from these treatments can range widely between 25 and 70 years old. Due to the quality of the skin we can expect better results in young people (25-40 years) and more modest results in the elderly (wrinkles are already deeply “dug” into the skin and the effect lasts less). Important:
- keep your head elevated (do not bend over or lie down) for 4-6 hours after the botulinum toxin injection
- avoid massaging or touching the treated area to avoid the substance migrating.
The effect of botulinum toxin lasts between 4-6 months after which the muscles of the face return to their previous state and in order to prolong the effect it is necessary to repeat the treatment.
