How much does gummy smile treatment cost?

Gummy smile occurs in two different situations:

When the gum excessively covers the upper teeth making them appear very small.
when the upper lip is inserted too high with too strong facial muscles.

If in the first case gingivectomy, i.e. cutting the excess gum, is a simple and quick solution, the same method is not applicable for the second case

GUMMY SMILE TREATMENT

A small dose of botulinum toxin injected into the muscles of the upper lip solves the unsightly appearance! Within 2-10 days, the muscles that lift the upper lip during smiling will relax, changing the smile line. At the same time, by slightly weakening these muscles, the upper lip is no longer inverted and stretched during smiling, but retains its normal thickness during rest. In order to maintain the results, it is necessary to repeat the procedure every 6 months.
Lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid can considerably reduce the gummy smile, and from experience I can say that in mild to moderate cases it can make it disappear. The upper lip having a larger volume will cover the gums and thus solve the problem.
